AFL Gather Round 2025 Comes to the Barossa

Come watch your favourite team battle it out on Barossa's new footy field - Barossa Park. Explore the Barossa region and experience the best places to dine and sip on iconic South Australian wine. Take advantage of Adelaide Metro's free bus shuttles and trains from Adelaide to Barossa Park. You’ll be able to Bounce around the Barossa and discover what this world-class wine region has to offer with convenient hop on hop off shuttle busses. Train

Adelaide Metro trains run frequent daily services from Adelaide to Gawler, and additional Gawler train services will operate before and after matches at Barossa Park. For a quicker arrival time, take the route via Gawler Central (GAWC), or for a leisurely ride, take the Gawler (GAW) route.

These services will connect with a special shuttle service transporting footy fans from Gawler Railway Station to Barossa Park and back. 

Bounce Around the Barossa - a free hop-on hop-off service - will depart from Gawler Train Station and help footy goers explore the Barossa region with three routes connecting to Tanunda

Public transport to all matches during Gather Round is FREE by showing a valid game day ticket. Free travel will be available from 12:00pm Thursday and Friday, and all-day Saturday and Sunday.

Free service for Gather Round ticket holders Bounce Around the Barossa

Stop and experience more than 45 local businesses and townships, stay for a tasting, enjoy a long lunch or take in a cooking demonstration. Travellers can get off and on various stops, stay longer at locations or jump on multiple routes to experience the most of the Barossa with the busses operating from 9:45am until 5pm (Thur to Sun). The services depart from Gawler Train Station, with all three routes connecting to Tanunda - the heart of the Barossa with a leafy historic street waiting to be explored.
